Expertly hand embroidered into natural, slightly beige fabric with an ivory crocheted cotton lace edging. These charming doilies were traditionally created by women in Australia before, during or after the second world war for their "glory box" that contained mostly hand embroidered linen for their wedding and married life.
Measuring about 38 x 29 cm (15 x 11.5"). Condition: Vintage doily in very good condition.
