This is a Nanjing Yunjin (Cloud Brocade) silk shawl in its official presentation gift box and authenticity certificate.
Nanjing Yunjin is nicknamed "Inch of Brocade, Inch of Gold" because traditional manual weaving produces only about 5 centimeters of fabric per day.

The Text on the Box: The stylized label reads "云锦礼品" (Yunjin Lipin), which translates directly to "Cloud Brocade Gift".

Historical Significance: Nanjing Yunjin is an ultra-luxurious, UNESCO-recognized imperial weaving craft historically reserved for Chinese royalty.

Certificate: These presentation gift sets traditionally include a certificate of authenticity outlining the historical lineage, material composition (often featuring pure mulberry silk and metallic threads), and care instructions for the hand-woven textile.
The shawl is in pristine, unused condition, no odours and is double sided, looks the same on both sides.

Measurements: 160 x 27.5 cm (length includes fringe).

Proper Care & Maintenance Rules:

Because traditional brocade features delicate, floating weft threads that create the raised patterns, standard washing will permanently ruin the garment.
Follow these guidelines to preserve it:

Dry Clean Only: Take the shawl to a reputable professional dry cleaner experienced with delicate luxury silks or historic tapestries.

Never Machine Wash or Submerge: Water can cause the intense dyes to bleed and permanently distort or shrink the silk weave structure.

Avoid Friction & Snags: Keep the shawl away from rough jewelry, zippers, or Velcro, as these will easily pull the intricate brocade surface loops.

Storage Advice: Store the garment flat inside its original presentation box using acid-free tissue paper.

Avoid hanging it for prolonged periods, which can stretch out the fabric fibers. Keep the box away from dampness and direct sunlight.
