This huge vintage doily with a stunning and rarely seen pattern was made of multicoloured cotton crochet thread featuring different lots of brightly coloured variegated flower medallions (blue, purple, pink organge) against the green background. It must have taken ages to make all by hand. It is about 45 cm across (18 inches) at its widest points.
