Charming vintage ceramic dish from Crown Devon's "Coaching Days" collection, circa 1930s. Features delicate transfer-printed illustrations of either The Manor House Oxford or The Swan Inn Hereford, framed by scalloped edges and gold trim. Perfect as a ring dish, butter dish, or decorative accent.
Measurements:
The square shaped ones are approximately 12 cm square.
The oblong version is 13 cm long.
Condition:
The Manor House Oxford example is in excellent condition. The oblong version of the same pattern shows expected age-related crazing (fine cracks in the glaze), so it's recommended use is decoration or display only.
The Swan Inn Hereford shows minor crazing with a small chip on the underside rim (not visible from above).
A lovely period piece for collectors of English ceramics and vintage tableware.
